At the blog, Campaigns In Germania, see the second and third cavalry waves.

What an impressive sight and a French victory to boot!
Good stuff, Bill.

Stunning! I'm so envious of all that space.

Very nicely done.

I will never hear the end of this: the French winning Minden! At least the 1st Regt of Guards stood fast and didn't flinch despite the endless waves of French cavalry that tried to ride them down. True lions, they were.

Ahh, twas merely British Pluck. Without Pluck, would we have taken a third of the earths surface?

Wthout Pluck would we have advanced in a body 100,000 strong into heavy sustained machinegun fire?

Bah. actually Plucks Sucks.

The British and Hanoverian lines performed with courage and did very well. Well done.
Respectfully.
