I must admit that I am extremely impressed and pleased both with the service and the product from Rusty Rail. These items are very nicely detailed and are perfect for 28mm wargaming. I had a lot of questions, and Rick (the owner) was very patient and very quick to respond to my questions. If you don't know a thing about this company, they are in California and produce HO and O Scale items for model railroading that is perfect for miniature wargaming as well. I submitted an order on July 25th, and received it today (Aug 5th), so only 11 days, including 2 weekends and a Stat holiday in Ontario, CANADA, so in my opinion, shipping service was very efficient. The product was very well packaged, and a good thing too, as the postal service smashed in one corner of the postal box that was mailed. The product inside was unscathed. These pieces included a lot of small items to be used as clutter, junk piles, etc., for a number of my modern and Sci Fi games. They look like they will be a lot of fun to paint up and scatter around on my gaming table. Give them a look at the following website, you won't be disappointed: rustyrail.com Regards, Hitman |

Ok, what is "O" scale comparabel to? 28mm? 32mm? |

"OK, what is "O" scale comparable to?" "O" scale is 7mm to the foot. So an average guy of 5ft 6in would stand ~38mm tall (from sole of feet to top of head). Depending on how you measure your figs (28mm, 32,mm from where to where?) will tell you whether they will fit or not. Of course the simplest way is to just eyeball it

All I know, is that this O Scale stuff looks perfect with my 28mm figures from Eureka's Afghan's and Stan Johansen's Iraq's and US GI's if that helps. I also purchased one of the old junk trucks and it matches up nicely with Sloppy Jaloppy vehicles as well. Scale-wise they call it 1/43rd, at least that was what I was told. Regards, Hitman |

Depends a bit: In the UK O scale is 1/43rd, in the US it's 1/48th Confusing isn't it? |

I have some of the HO stuff and it is perfect with my 15mm moderns and SciFi. Rick is a nice guy and I wish he would think about doing some wargame terrain. Here are some pictures I did for scale against some Peter Pig 15mm US Marines. Link: link Jeff |

Jeff; Thanks for the scale comparison for HO and your 15mm Peter Pigs
I am really glad I elected to go with the O Scale for my 28mm. The sizes for each scale (HO and O) go very nicely with respect to the 15mm and 28mm miniatures. Regards, Hitman |

His sets would work fine w/pulp, superhero, or wastelands games. Prices looked pretty good too. |
