The King was indeed in the old West.

Humorous dialogue but no puns.

One Indian: Kiowa Pacer. Is it true, earth, round like ball, white man live on all sides?
Pacer Burton: That is true.
Another Indian: Tell me, why men on bottom not fall off?
Pacer Burton: I've never been there. Maybe they do.

Great Work Wingnut!!!!!

Sneak Gun,
that is a real gem. I know he was in "Charro" but I missed that one. I got the Idea from Brisco County Jr.'s Arron Viva a brilliant cameo character that used Elvis shtick to thwart villainy in the Old west and eat his weight in Cherry Pie. Since I finished the figure the one Liners have been abundant around the game table.
You can bet when this "Tumble'n Tumble Weed" "Shakes, Rattles and Rolls" into town there's "a whole lot of Shake'n go'n on."

"Flaming Star" is a must see for anyone interested in the post ACW Texas frontier!

It's corny and dated by today's standards but the King does a great job with the part, and the situations are practically torn from the history books.

Watch that and "THE Unforgiven" with Burt Lancaster, as well as "The Searchers" and you can get a pretty good sense of the atmosphere of that time and place.
