I would like to find a set of rules that I could play with my 9 year old. I have Tigers and Stalins, but would like a set that includes basic infantry as well. Thanks for any help.

Tigers and Stalins DOES include Infantry rules. That and AT Guns and Aircraft.

I know…I wrote them……grin

You might try NUTS! by Two hour Wargames. It's skirmish level and a lot of fun.

Flames of War is certainly not too complicated for a 9 year old.

Big Battles for Little Hands by "Buck" Surdu has a section on gaming with tanks and infantry – very basic – I have a copy I bought for the Little Prince

I would go with Memoir '44 myself, either that or Axis and allies the collectable mini game. You can download all the rules for free (or you used to be able to).

I have a copy of Tigers and Stalins published in 1990 by MG Games Inc. It has anti-tank gun rules, but no infantry rules. At least in this edition. Thanks all, these are some good suggestions. If anyone has anymore please list them. The more choices the better.

Have a look at "Rules of Engagement" by Great Escape Games.
Its not the most simple rule set out there, but the basic mechanics is easy to graps and it has enough scope and endless playability.

Also it is very well supported by the GEG guys on their forum; rofe.19.forumer.com/index.php

The Great Escapes Website is here; greatescapegames.co.uk
