Does anyone know of a source of wagon wheels suitable for use with GW's Warhammer miniatures. Something the same size or larger than those on Empire canons would be fine. Metal or plastic are fine, but I need at least four of them and I don't want to have to buy whole kits of stuff just to get some. I don't care if they aren't GW, they just have to look good on my conversions and scratch builds I'm planning. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I have ordered 10mm wheels from pendraken as part of a larger order but the minimum postage might kill you. You might see if GHQ or GFI (who else makes 10mm in the US? Both of those companies have lines in 10mm that include pre-20th-century guns and wagons) will help you out a small pack at a non-bank-breaking price.

Can't you just order them from GW as bitz? Thats what I did back in the day when I played GW games. I really like the spoked GW wheels for all sorts of conversions.

Delthos – How about making them? Seen a nice article on Terragensis on doing it with wooden coffee stirs. Also, there is always eBay. :-)

Amalric – The GW Bitz program aint what it used to be. As i understand it, except for a few choices things they don't offer the Bitz program any more. I am outta the loop so i may be wrong. Just what i have seen penned out on other boards in recent weeks when this topic comes up. :-)

Sorry, I got war-master and war-hammer confused again.

I lost out on a lot of 23 different GW wheels today on Ebay. It went for higher than I was willing to go. About $32 USD plus $6 USD for shipping. I was looking to avoid having to make my own, but that's what I'll probably wind up doing. They really would be tedious and more time consuming that I want to put forth effort.

As for GW, they no longer sell them as bits. They have "collecters" stuff, but no more bits. They stopped about a year ago.

No problem Lentulus, I suspected that you had your wires crossed there!

You might consider something like this, depending on what exactly you are trying to build.

Delthos – This is what i was referring to BTW. Just in case.

You may look at plastic Western wagons in the toy section of the local retailer or drug store. I have a couple of chariots with wheels from a chuckwagon.
