I had a rough month. I finished 30 Perry samurai with yari and 3 pieces of terrain. Almost forgot the 2 MSB toys miniatures I painted at the in-laws! I did manage to get some games in.

I'll call it 47 for the month, given the size of the terrain.

Total for the year – 303.

My goal is 50 per month, so I'm 47 behind schedule. I've got to get cracking! On the workbench are about 30 more Perry samurai and choson in various stages of painting, so it's not hopeless yet.

Nada, although I placed an order that has not gotten here yet. Only 42 28mm WWII US infantry though.

When the US troops get here I'll need to paint them, 2 more 28mm foot and 14 28mm cav to be even for the year in 28mm. For 10mm and 15mm I need to paint 22 10mm foot in order to have painted twice what I've bought.

Goal for August is to finish my 10mm Dacian army (~150 left), and finish some of the 6 1/1200 scale Napoleonic ships I have. It would also be nice to start tackling my 28mm plastic horde (I've picked up 8 boxes of various things since the craze started, plus freebies).

Didn't get too much done on my pile this month. Mostly as I painted 60 Genestealers for a friends army for an apocalypse game between our gaming group and another group.

New compressor arrived, so next month I'll go back to painting more tanks.

Converting it all to 28mm, I find that I have slipped to +181 for the year, but still ahead.

The second part of my pledge involved finishing a project each month, whether that be a full army or just some warband or team. Success! I finished up my 15mm Zulu army and my 15mm Carthaginian FoG army, so I'm back to having finished up one project per month for the year.

Began the month at +2240 for the year.

Painted a little more than in June, but bought a lot more. Hopefully the buying will decrease in August because it looks like I'm not going to have much time to paint.

Lovely year for painting, really.

Not a great month – went to Bovington show and played with the B&B which complicated the bought/sold ratio somewhat…

So I bought 4 small elementals, 76 15mm fantasy, 1 Stagecoach, 5 VSF Characters, 12 Peter Pig women, 1 western outbuilding, 2 giant robots. I sold 7 IKWM figures and 20 Black Orc Avalonians.

I painted 2 Maruader horsemen, 1 undead werewolf, 1 15mm witch hunter, 5 15mm cowboys, 1 western hut, 1 Marius Darkblade, Col Marbles, a 15mm Beholder, 6 15mm Aztecs, 1 15mm undead construct, 4 chaos knights, 14 15mm zombies, 2 15mm necromancers, 6 ACW Irish, 6 Army of the dead, 1 15mm robot, and 1 25mm barbarian.

I don't seem to be very focused… but for the year, I'm down 66 25mm figures and only up 5 15mm despite Magister Militum…

Oh, its been bad.
