Just wondering what's in the terrain tutorial.

I'm not doing Berlin at the moment, but if the tutorial is good emough, i might?

Anyone out there read it yet? What's in there and how good is it?

It's nice, about 2-3 pages with some really quick ideas on how to do terrain fairly cheap. Nothing that's earth-shatteringly new, but a decent primer on how to do it.

The tutorial is basically on how to make quick terrain. There is nothing in there that would be "Berlin specific." I was a bit disappointed about that at first, but the beauty is that none of the scenarios require Berlin specific terrian. So what you build using this guide can really be used anywhere you do cityfighting.

My favorite suggestion was to build rubble piles using bits of insulation board as a base, with the debris glued on top of it. I tried just gluing piles of kitty litter and stones together and did not like the result.

I missed it – where did this tutorial appear?

It's in Iron Ivan's new scenario/campaign book. The title is, Berlin: Race for the Reichstag.

Ahh thanks for the pointer! – I am a bit behind on my II supplements since I wasn't at Historicon…

Take care!
