These are really, really nice figures!

I got a box of the Nubians (perfect, generic light infantry for anyone in or around the Mediterranean)

I got a box of the Roman Cavalry

And I got a whole Celt army (5 boxes warband, 2 boxes chariots, and 1 box cavalry) that I plan to do British with.

I've started putting together some, and they are terrific!

I got a box of the Nubians

AFAIK they are actually supposed to be Numidians…

I already have about 250 WF plastics finished (50 Zulus, 40 British, 64 Celts, 96 Romans). I also have a ridiculous number on the workbench – 6 chariots, 36 cavalry, 100 Zulus, 30 Numidian and 30 German infantry.
I liked the early ones but have to say that they get better with every set.

jpattern227 Jul 2009 7:06 p.m. PST

Those minis aren't armed like any Namibians I've ever seen.

Did I type nubians – sheesh, I mean numidians. Thats what I get from typing while driving (don't ask)

Noobians or Nobbians?

cturnitsa27 Jul 2009 10:29 p.m. PST

Well they are sort of nobby.

Norwegians? They look awfully scantily clad to be Norwegians.

Nomads of Gor?

dapeters28 Jul 2009 11:38 a.m. PST

Nubiles!

cturnitsa28 Jul 2009 11:50 a.m. PST

Nasty Nobbily Norwegian Nomads of Gor!

Whatever, they are nice figures and have the weapons/heads/arms to do a wide variety of different useful poses and equipment combinations.

Not too sure about what weapons would be appropriate for a Nomad of Gor (don't want to go there, having once read some of John Norman's books in the folly of my youth)…

I have seen Norwegians that were significantly more scantily clad than that!
