Hi, I do Napoleonics and ACW in Philly proper and I was wondering if there are any groups doing the same? If you are is your group looking for new members? I'm not aware of many people around here into wargames.
thanks!

How far up the Turnpike do you want to come? 2 hours to the Scranton Wilkes Barre area? grin

Hey, I would, but I am entirely a city dweller and don't have a car. I see you on these boards all the time and I had no idea you lived in Pa, btw!

Oh, well.
There have been occasional threads here about Philadelphia area shops and clubs.
Do a TMP search for Philly and Philadelphia.

Well, there's PAGE. I've never been, but they apparently have good attendance.

The Penn Gamers Club meets every Wednesday and plays board games of all types. Some of them also play miniatures games.

I'm moving out of town soon. What part of Philly do you live in? There's a new gaming store at 41st and Locust that is swarmed with people playing Magic the Gathering every night. They've got a lot of tables, and some terrain. Be nice to get some other games going on there sometimes.

Hey Bloomheller.

I live in suburban Philadelphia (Upper Dublin). I only know of one guy who plays historical miniatures and lives in Center City. I don't know if he's still there, but if you contact me off list I can try to put you in touch with him.

Otherwise, I don't have any Napoleonics or ACW, but I'm willing to play if you supply everything.

Drop me a line if you want to put on a game. k.portner@verizon.net

I personally do not get to attend as often as I would like because of my work/personal schedule.

But we do all kinds of periods. I live in Delaware County PA and do ACW 25MM and other periods. I do not do Napoleonics though.

There is also a game shop in Holmes, PA (Delaware County)on MacDade Blvd. that runs historicals on Thursday night.
