Nice,

These figures are good. I like the Egil figure. Is this from Gripping Beasts?

I would like to hear something about the longship and the houses. Most longship models are not waterlined and therefore not very useable for wargames.

Really nice. I love the detail and time you put in on the basework as well. I don't normally go that far, but it makes all the difference, I think.

What sort of ink/wash did you use? It looks like you did a brown wash/dip and then painted the metallics.

Agree with Elb as well, would love to hear more about the terrain, which you did a great job on.

Outstanding.

Thanks for the comments guys. Flags are GB, LBM and Foundry.

Egil figure is GB – check the superb painting on their site:

Longship is OG and buildings are GB. Some washes are GW black and flesh but I mainly use AP strong tone dip now.

Matt we can try and stem the Norman tide at Cancon next year!
