Anyone know whether Pithead Miniatures is still in business? Their web site pithead-miniatures.tk doesn't appear to be active any longer. |

He replied to a question I had not long ago about his out-of-production ACW stuff. I know he still sells WWII 10mm but I no longer have the URL. Did you "Google" Pithead Miniatures? |

I think they are still going -- had an email from them a couple of weeks ago. Which did mention holidays. Looks like the domain name expired, and people are not around to sort things -- a bit of a problem for 1 man companies. |

I saw that hey launched a new website recently and then they are on holidays. So perhaps a combination of the two? |

Thanks for the replies. I am getting into 10 mm WWII and wanted another source that made figs from countries that Pendraken don't make, such as French and Poles for early war units. |

Randy use Pendraken WWI French infantry for the WWII stuff. |

Thanks Monkey Hanger. I hadn't thought about that. |

Pithead-Miniatures is at the moment suffering from a server that has crashed. There is a temporary site at the old address, with the most important information. They are on holiday at the moment though. From the site: "Pithead will be closed from 1/8/09 until 20/8/09 and will not be able to process any orders during this time." Cheers Carl |

"The demise of Pithead has been greatly exaggerated". As Carl said, the site had a glitch while we were both away on holiday but is now back up and running with a dozen new additions added to the range every month. link |
