I picked up several Union and Confederate Firing Line boxed sets at Historicon. I have to say we finally do have figures that can represent a shoulder to shoulder firing line. Unlike skirmishing figures which have their weapons all over the place or are kneeling, the Firing Line sets are outstanding for modeling the "control" the solder has to have in his confined space in the line of battle. The sculpts are superior to many on the market. Kudos to Chris H. for the sculpts and to OG for putting out such outstanding figures. |

I bought some at H'con, too and they are excellent models which match up with Chris' other line perfectly. I look forward to buying more of these stellar sculpts! |

Yup. I bought them too and they are what I had hoped. Great stuff. |

Saw these, thought they looked nice. Budget was well gone by the time I got there, though. Those and the AWI line look excellent. Particularly impressed with the AWI figs, which are spot on as mixers for Perry, Foundry and Eureka, or as units in their own right. |

How can I tell which figures are the 2nd Gen ones in the Old Glory listings? |

How can I tell which figures are the 2nd Gen ones in the Old Glory listings? They're the ones that – oddly enough – are called "Second Edition" ;-) link |
