Looks very nice.

Really great job. The camoflage is perfect…..blended with no sharp contrast. It has a good dusty field worn look to it.

Very nice.

Outstanding work, Neil! What book did the color plate come from?

Thank you very much for sharing the pics! thumbs up

Thanks all, i never thought a non-german non-ambush scheme would generate so much interest across the forums!. Sorry, I'm afraid SCW isnt in my area of knowledge, this is a purely paint to order, the color plate was supplied.

There is more info given by the helpfull chaps over on the Guild though:

Saginaw, that colour plate comes from the rear cover of "Blindados En Espaņa 1a Parte: La Guerra Civil 1936-1939" by Javier de Mazarrasa. The vehicle belongs to the Riquelme column during the attack on the Alcazar at Toledo in 1936 (JSU stands for Juventudes Socialistas Unificadas – the Unified Socialist Youth)

Superbly done!

Troop, you should try some 1940 French armour if you really want to walk on the camouflage wild side though… nothing says intimidation and menace with style like a Char B1bis in FCM factory four colour scheme lurching towards your hapless Pak 36 "Doorknocker"…evil grin

P.S. Send me a PM if ever you want some scans of Great War Schnieders in French service; elaborate camouflage with some fancy markings to say the least. I can shoot you some JPEGs of photos of such Schneiders taken during the infamous Nivelle Offensive if you're ever interested…

BWP, i'm afraid it all comes down to someone elses tastes or what i can sell on. I'd love to do the St Chammond or some of BEF's Frenchie EW stuff, just afraid it will sit on my shelf or sold uncost, too limited a market. Unfortunately ambush "SS" types sell, EW French doesn't :o(

Troop,

no worries; a man's gotta feed his family. evil grin
