Any suggestions for suitable camel shades using Foundry paints?

(in the absence of Foundry Rampant Camel in three tone pots)

I know this has come up before but I'd like some Foundry colours rather than GW, Vallejo or others.

Thanks :O)

Any sort of dirty mid/light brown with an inkwash will do. Unfortunately it isn't usually possible to paint on the smell and bad temper as well.

Sadly, there are a bunch of partially painted camels on my table, and I'm wondering what colors to paint them. I understand riding camels tend towards white, while pack camels are darker. Don't know why that should be so.

Colour depends on the camels: Bishari camels from the Sudan as used by the Beja in the Sudan War in the 1880s were very pale: some almost white.

Other camels in North Africa varied in colour from dark brown to all sorts of biscuit colour.

What a superb site!

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Now, off to the paintstore to dig out some suitable off white shades.
