Does anyone have a recommendation on who makes the best 28mm Sickles figure? Perry does one and Sash and Saber makes him, but doesn't have a photo of that model on their site. Is there anybody else?

I don't recall anyone else making Sickles, but that only proves that my memory may not be the best. Is that with or without leg? evil grin

I always kind of liked Sickles for some reason. Seems he had more Bleeped textandvinegar in him than the other AOP generals.

Not to mention being the first to try the "temporary insanity" defense for murder, and make it work.

Exactly so! Not a decent bone in his body (even in the amputated parts), managed to get a whole pile of his men killed through sheer ineptitude, but definately a character – kind of like a real life Flashman

Sickles was a paragon of virtue compared to most of the Other Federal General Officers.

Perry Miniatures makes a model of Sickles. I only wish they would have sculpted him in the uniform as sketched by Charle Reed of the 9th Mass. Battery. ~Gary
