This is likely going to be way too specific a post, but I was wondering if anyone else was converting any of the AT43 battle armor, especially the TacArms, to combat walkers for 15mm?

I am doing this myself but am lookingfor inspirational ideas. I am particularly interested in seeing what folks have armed their with or what they are doing to make them appear as mecha for a smaller scale.

I would think the first step is swapping the obviously 28mm stowage out for either something scale-less or indicative of 15mm. The weapons don't really need to change.

I did start there. I cut off the helmet and knife on the backs of them. The rest of the stowage didn't seem to be all that scaled and could easily back for larger satchels, etc.

I do not like the oversized weapons and having one slung under each arm seems a tad overkill for the more hard sc-fi setting I'm using them in.

I looked at doing that, but I could get Mechwarrior clicky mechs cheaper and they didn't need much alteration, so I went with those instead.

I know someone here did a conversion of Tac Arms to 15mm Mecha and post the pictures fairly recently, but damned if I can remember who….

I could get Mechwarrior clix minis too, but none of them have the look I wanted, so I bought some AT43 on sale and went with that. I have a good number of them awaiting the knife.

Things are in the pipe for 15mm mecha and walkers via a number of sources. See Dropship Horizon for a leg in the background of the infantry pics for the Critical Mass release…

So far none of them are in the style I'm looking for.

It's cool that stuff is coming out, but so far I'm still waiting. But then again people are likely figuring out I've got some odd tastes.

Thank you Haywire for finding it! It does look very cool, I think I will have to pick up a box and give my Earthforce Marines some additional armored support.

The Red Blok Colussus look pretty cool too as 15mm walkers.

I cut off the gear/knife and then cleaned up the backside. I picked a set up on one of the really great sales at fantasy flight games.
