I will be using simple pegs on my new figure production, this way it is better for everyone agree?
See what I mean?

It will save on metal, but not sure how well it will work for mounting on metal washers.

Sure, you can clip, saw, file the pegs off, and use an epoxy glue, but that will take some time and effort.

Not necessarily better than a thin integral base. The pegs will require that whatever base it goes into be thick enough to hold the mini securely. I guess that's ok if you like thick bases. But I wouldn't say its better.

I'd much prefer a thin metal base big enought for the figure to stand up!

Thank you very much for your comments so far.
I see bases are winning, and understand washers are now used by almost everyone with easy access to a local hardware shop.
On the other hand these figures are big at 1/48(36-40mm)so maybe all clients considered:model makers.collectors.and us wargamers might rule out bases.
I could produce both pegs and bases,or have round plastic bases for washers included on the blisters(not the same?)but that will be added cost really.
Main problem is stability as I can gather from your other topics, the main base must be 2mm thick at most, and that is quite thin…
I know 3mm big slotta bases are currently out of style as they really put figures on pedestals thus not so good for wargaming purposes,so that is out too.
My figures are already at a different if upcoming scale, not your usual mainstream wargame figures,so a good old base might draw wargamers opinion closer to their acceptance.

I like the pins a lot. Easier to remove than the big metal slab for slotta bases and if you use other materials like Litko plywood easy enough to drill a hole to take the pin.

Ok!One like myself chooses the pins!

Pegs if you please as been mentioned before removing them to mount them on alternative bases is easier then trying to remove an integral base no matter how thin.

But if the pegs are removed they will be very prone to break off from any chosen bases!
I the soldiers knees and/or boots are the only surface to glue down to the base they will break off wont they?
