I will be at Historicon in the dealers area at the MagWeb booth to give Snappy Nappy demos and answer questions.

We'll be putting on an informal SN game on either Friday or Saturday night (haven't decided precisely yet) in the open gaming area. We'll have it set up where you can just walk up and join the game in progress.

I should add I'll also do Q&A about MagWeb and Hyperspace Hack sci-fi spaceship rules for those interested.

Russ, I think you should promote the game more, mate. I hardly ever see any announcements from you about it.

Ditto on the promotion Russ – you should try to get the word out.

Thank you for the encouragement. It's only been about a month since the first copies rolled off the printer. Some game reports have been here at TMP, and one of the players has created a Yahoo group, so that shows interest.

In addition, review copies have been sent to all major magazines and then some, so news items and reviews will be coming out this fall. In the very least, they can show one of the -- if not *the* -- most modernistic cover for miniatures rules in the past couple decades. :)

I will be at Historicon with a booth, and will be running an informal game or two in the evening. My idea is for folks to simply walk up and start playing for 15 minutes or for an hour or two. This will allow me to create a nice AAR, which should also help when I write it up.

I just created two informational flyers, one for Snappy Nappy and one for my other rules, Hyperspace Hack, which I will be able to distribute in printed and electronic formats. Both hit the high points of the rules.

Rest assured, Snappy Nappy will build momentum, slowly but surely.

When will I learn that Americans don't do irony… ?

Russ, I'm going to stop by and ask you about section 10.62 – Cavalry Charged by Infantry.

Russ Lockwood21 Jul 2009 11:00 a.m. PST

Ran 3 games at Historicon. Each player commanded a corp.

6-player (Thurs) 1 hour 38 minutes.
4-player (Fri) 1 hour 23 minutes.
8-player (Sat) 1 hour 52 minutes.

I'll post AARs in a bit…
