How big are they compared to Devil Dog Design figures does anyone know?

They fit with Gripping Beast and Mongrel.
A hair shorter than DDD, but still ok.

They fit in with Stan Johansen height and girth wise.

Just like troopwo says, the are a shade smaller than DDD figures but still mix on the table (for me, anyway). They are excellent figures.

Irish, I can take a pic and email it to you later this evening.

Irish, how do you base your moderns?

I put all mine on washers. The DDD get a bit of belt sander treatment to the slotta fixture, and then get stuck into Eureka flat slotta bases on top of the washer. This results in my Bundeswehr being similar height to my DDD.

Mongrel figs get washers, the DDD go on their own bases that come with them. I think I just might have to start putting some more figs on the slotta bases just for height.

Irish, I have added a comparison pic to my blog site where I previously posted comparisons.

If you shoot me your eMail addy I can take some shots of the DDD and Eureka Germans side by side. They work OK if you mount them both on the same typpe of base and slip a piece of card between the Eurekas and their base.
The DDD are slightly more "hefty", but not too noticeably so. But the Eurekas are much nicer and more detailed. Plus they are 100% historically correct (but I need to say that since I gave them advise on those minis wink).

Cheers,

Burkhard
