Following on this thread about New Blood TMP link I got to wondering what the average attendance on most club nights is. I occasionally frequent the Harrogate Wargames Club, and they seem to average 20 to 25. At my local club, the Huntingdon and District Wargames Society we must average 40. On busy nights it can go over 50. (This excludes a unconnected role playing contingent of about 12 players who share the same room) Regards to all Vulture (My Blog link ) |

We get between 9 and 16 out every other Tuesday. An average would be about 11. This is a goodly number for most Canadian clubs, I think! |

Down at the George PH in East Coker, (Yeovil) we – South Somerset Wargames Group – manage 12 – 16, at present we don't have a massive area – a skittle alley – so those numbers are good, although all clubs should aim to expand through the roof! Tally Ho! |

The Exmouth Club averages about a dozen, maybe a couple more. The Exeter clubs like Ryga's are bigger, say 30+ when I last popped in? |

Our attendance has rapidly died off so now I'm lucky if one or two show up. My group is effectively dead. |

Average between 6 and 8 at my club. Anyone live near marlow in Bucks want to play on a regular basis? |
| TodCreasey | 06 Jul 2009 7:54 a.m. PST |
We share with a boardgames club. We usually do 5-15 people and they do 5-10 – yesterday we hit 25 total so that was a good day. Flames of War Firestorm has seemed to breath some more life into us – I am hoping for 15-10 people per session for those days. |

Sheffield Wargames Club, on a good night around 40. |

Harrogate and Ripon District – we average about 15. It covers the rent, and is better than it was. Vulture – how are the Other Harrogate club doing? We are the one on Dene Park BTW. Pat |

White Rock Gamers average 8 an evening, max 13 or 14, minimum 4. We play every Thursday except in the summer. Trumpeters Club gets approx 60 to 100 on a Friday night, once a month. |

Champaign Historical gamers have unfortunatley suffered some great losses over the past year. Now we usually have 3-6 people show up. |

Reading Area Wargamers (PA) averages 10-12 per Thursday night meeting. |
| bruntonboy | 06 Jul 2009 11:06 a.m. PST |
SASRA in West Cumbria about 30 on avaerage but that icludes everyone. Figure gamers only about 10-20% of this, usually about 4-5. |

TSA (Antwerp – Belgium) – every Fridaynight – 50 if it's slow, 80+ when crowded. |
| Billiam | 06 Jul 2009 3:08 p.m. PST |
Metro Seattle Gamers (WA, USA) – Open most days; 6 or so on a weeknight and about twice that on a Saturday. A little harder to compare to those previously mentioned since it isn't a weekly/monthly 'event' but a full-time clubhouse. |

I am so jealous. We vary from 3 to 8 on most Fridays when we play. But . . . we really don't have 'clubs' in the sense that most of you do. It's a funny thing about Spokane. There's a lot of gamers in the area but not a lot of interaction between those groups. mjc |

Yeah, the Champaign-Urbana area gamers are very cliquish too. The historical gamers, numbering about 5-6, have lost a couple of guys for various reasons but have gained one new guy. It's been hard to get any of the other gamers interested in the historical side of the hobby. |
John the OFM | 06 Jul 2009 7:58 p.m. PST |
6-8 for the hard core. Since our "club house" is my basement, I am not really looking to "grow" the hobby. |

The Exiles the-exiles.ning.com have roughly 6-8 players every Thursday. So far this year the lowest attendance has been 5 and the highest 11. |

We usually get a dozen at Guildford Wargames Club, sometimes more. Not me very often, though! |
| Vulture | 07 Jul 2009 3:45 a.m. PST |
Forgot to mention that both clubs (Harrogate and Huntingdon) meeting every Thursday. Sane Max Glad to hear your H&RD club is still going strong. The other Harrogate club (still using the Royal Airforce Association Club (RAFA) seems to be doing well, with a hardcore of regulars that sustain it. Had a enjoyable game of Flames of War there back in Feb. link and link

Manchester Area Wargames Club – UK Monday night meetings, 20 on a slack night, 35 or so on a busy one. Sundays, 4 to 10 depending. Our biggest problem looks like it might be running out of space for tables. |
