Very nice, but i think i am more interested in yours Charles!

What printer is shapeways using for the best detail – i see that the white/strong/flexible will go down to 0.2mm… do you know what printer they are using, Is it a solidscape?

if you upload stl files there for printing do you retain full rights?

What, me? Oh, yeah…

WS&F will go all the way down to .2mm, but you may have to work the surface with an xacto blade or needle to really bring details that tiny out. The Black and Transparent detail textures require less cleaning and still come out sub-millimeter details intact. The Cream Robust stuff isn't worth using unless you're printing big models without a lot of detail on 'em.

WS&F is done with selective laser sintering (hence the slightly rough surface), the detail materials are printed on an objet printer.

You do keep all rights; selling through them in essence grants them a license to print and ship your model.
