Not many people nowadays remember the first Martian colonist killed by the Spider Bug. The attacks on humans became so frequent that only greenhorns from Earth wander outside unarmed, yet even heavy weapons do not provide a full proof guarantee of returning home alive. The spider bug is an ancient Martian predator that lay dormant for many eons till humans in their land rush madness started constructions all over the planet. Awakened, its attack is fast and deadly. If the victim is lucky, its slaughtered in one sweeping move of the spiders long and ultra-sharp appendages. If not, the poor soul will be ripped apart by a combination of appendages and claws

I have now decided that Wiffwaff is the name, not of a person, but of some alien sculpting machine recovered from the Roswell wreckage and just recently bak-engineered into a tool for miniatures gaming goodness. Fast and nice, -Eli |

Cool and disturbing at the same time. I think I could do with some of these in my collection. When I saw the last photo, all i could think of was "Run Johnny, Run!" |

These will also work with 28mm figures. |

Kyoteblue: Ooops, sorry ! Somehow I missed placing the information about the scale. Yes, the spider is scaled to be larger than typical 15mm humanoids. The human visible in the last photo is about 17.5mm to the top of head. DWW: They should be available about the same time – end of July / early August due to the casting queue. |

Really nice, but why do I get the mental image of 'martian' citizens wearing cowboy hats and packing six-guns? |
