I have come Command Decision (from Old Glory) 15mm WW2 Russians. I was wondering if anyone has used PP head swaps on this brand. I want to avoid having pinheads or mushrooms. Thanks Michael |

Yes, either helmet or pilotka will work fine. Or are you considering something else? Allen |

ww1 german?, cossack furcap? navy heads? berets? Dutch? boonie hats? Adrian helmets? sidecaps? And then you would probably finish the options on latvians
The head range is like the figure range. the newer heads can fit quite well (as in excellently) on even older style fow figures. I've used the new commando heads on fow Italian theatre british. The older heads fit well on my command decision stuff. I suppose the short answer is "most probably" especially if you are considering their ealy war helmet |

"I've used the new commando heads on fow Italian theatre british." That's good to know, Kevan: I have a shedload of BF commandos that could use them. I also need to check out the *very* new LW British heads. I agree on the ones I've used: the early Soviet helmets, the later Soviet ones, the pilotkas, the Adrians: all good for the Command Decision range. The WWI German helmets are actually a bit small

I am out of the loop here. Do they make heads in 15mm? Hm

PP Range 6, CP; good stuff: peterpig.co.uk/range6.htm The ones I've used have looked better than the examples in the photo--although they all have the famous PP "Servicemen's Choir" expression. I've used the "PLO scarf" heads with Command Decision British as Arab Legion (the keffiyeh is wrapped close around the head, so a little putty flaring out the back comes closer to the "look" of the Legion in photos from 1941). The Sikh turbans are a bit smaller than the BF Sikh heads, but work OK for converting drivers of Indian Pattern carriers and the like (good for crews of Stuarts in Burma, if you're a complete nutter
). East Riding Miniatures makes Skikh turbanned heads that are a better match for the infantry figures. Allen |

I have used the PP Kepi for foreign legion, the pith helmet for colonial officers and the keffiyeh for chasseurs libanais. All worked out well when placed on either Old Glory or Battlefront figures. The proportions seemed correct. |

Forgot the kepi! Works great with CD 8th Army figures. The Italian desert helmet is also useful for blending in other figures with CD Italian desert infantry. Allen |
