Hello everyone, I am reading "Crisis in the Snows" while on vacation. It is an excellent read too. Normally my main interest is the 1809 Danube Campaign (started by Arnold's Crisis on the Danube), but
Snows has my interest peeked and I was wondering if anyone had any information on when "Napoleon's Triumph: The Freidland Campaign 1807" would be coming out. Any information is greatly appreciated. Regards, Bill |

You should check James Arnold's web site. That is where I bought Crisis In The Snows. I greatly enjoy his books and am looking forward to the Friedland book. |

Is Napoleon Books his only site? There is no indication on that site of any release dates for it. I purchased "Crisis in the Snow" from that site when it first came out and am just getting around to reading it now. That site has not changed at all since then. I will just keep waiting and read my plethora of other books in the mean time. Next up is Gill's second book in his trilogy for 1809. Regards, Bill |

Agreed, "Crisis in the Snows" is the new benchmark for the Eylau Campaign and a wonderful example of how to put together the definitive coverage of a napoleonic campaign. Wonderful detail, comprehensive coverage of all the actions not just the well known large battles, great maps, easy to read writing style. I too am hanging out for the coverage of Friedland. Bill, you'll enjoy Vol 2 of Gill's 1809 trilogy. Supposedly Vol 3 is due for Christmas. |
