I spent Saturday making some scenery for my WW2 game: anti tank ditches, kunai grass and a shell crater. To see the results, please visit my website: link and scroll down. |

How did you stick the kunai down? I've got a pile of the same stuff, and hot glue didn't work. |

I used a very generous amount of PVA wood glue. I didnt use so much glue that it came out under the edges though. I did glue them onto bases that I had coated in fine sand, so that may have helped with the process. |

You can get loads of nice two inch and four inch tall palm trees from Sugarcraft web site. They make cake decorations. The 4" trees are perfect for 28mm. And they are inexpensive. |

Your scenery has given me lots of fuel to finish my Pacific jungle terrain. I'm going to do 2'x2' squares that are modular and will have some sort of beach leading into dense jungle. |

Your beach boards are very similar to mine made from MDF exactly the same size , except my sea is a bit rougher. What thickness of Mdf did you use? I use all sorts of thicknesses and lots of recycled things too. my currently being built hills were old mdf furniture at one point, then flat "wargames" hills and are now being redone to a different style |

VicCina – great to hear. I hope you can post some pics somewhere to show once you have finished. KevanG – the MDF I used was about 5mm thick. The boards belong to a mate of mine I am playing the campaign with, so I am about to make some more of my own on foam tiles. This way we can have two games set up at once. |

I use 6, 12 and 18mm Mdf and 25mm foam |

I would use a lot more MDF if i had a good saw to cut it straight with. So many things I would make if i could do that :-P |
