I am finally done with the MiGs and onto the American planes. They should be easier painting, but more decals. One of the MiG-17s is number 3020, if anyone has been to the USAF museum, you have seen that MiG-17.

Your Migs look great!!

What rules are you using?

Where did you get the stands?

I am currently using AirWar: C21 (2nd edition) by Wessex games. I think this is the best out there currently. As soon as CY6 jet rules come out, which I believe is next year. I will probably switch to those. The stands are made by Forge World. I believe that the only way to purchase them is directly, but the transaction was very easy.

Page down and you will find them. I did not use the acrylic rods provided,(I thought they were to short)so I used Litko rods instead. I had to sand down the circumference on the Litko rods, they were thicker that the ones provided. You can use a file, I carefully used a Dremel.

Nice looking Migs what is the scale?

Got any F-4s to shoot em down?

Mike G28 Jun 2009 6:13 p.m. PST

Scotia, 1/300. I have 4 F-4s, two C-in-C and two Raiden. I also have four F-8 by Raiden. All these I have to paint up.
