Part of the Foundry "Duke of Wellington & Staff" pack contains a figure listed as "Captain von Steerwitz", I recall somewhere that he was stated to be the ADC to Uxbridge.
Can anyone throw any light on this character? I have never been able to find any reference to him, and wonder where Foundry got him from. I have even written to them asking this but got no reply. Also, does anyone know what uniform this figure is wearing and what colours I should paint him? The Foundry page have him in blue, but I don't recognise the uniform. |

Captain Anton von Steeruwitz was with the KGL as far as I know. (It's worth checking the KGL-Osprey me thinks) No idea about the uniform, but A.Taylor has a nice pic of this mini on his site. link |

The good captain is also pictured in Osprey's 'Wellington's Generals' I haven't got the book here, but I believe he was an officer in the 2nd KGL Hussars. |
