Hey all!

Just wanted to let people know that, having finished my first 25mm ACW unit and having posted some recent 10mm Napoleonics, I just finished my second 25mm Napoleonic Austrian unit, so please come on by and take a look!

Also, I wanted some opinions on some photos that I have run through a filter; which set is visually more appealing? Vote, if you would, in my poll so I know whether or not I should do this to other photos in the future for the blog!

Now that it is summer and I am off for the next two months, there will be some quick updates, including FINALLY some LOTR miniatures, the next few rounds of my 10mm Napoleonic playtest, and a book review of the new mammoth Osprey uniform book!

Thanks!

Good job on the Austrians. Enjoy 25s!

Thanks for sharing. :) Great layout on the site, as well!

Well done mate. You have painted very accurately which is half the battle. You did especially well on the Russian shako cords and the Austrian trouser braid. Have you considered trying the "dip." It improves a lot of figures.

I'm not sure if the eyes work very well. They are difficult to get right.

What are those figures? Are they OG 2nd Ed?

You seem to have grey trousers on your union infantry. Shouldn't that be light blue?

Hey all!

Thanks for coming by… if you get a chance to share your opinions on the two sets of Austrian pictures that would be great.

I have dipped the Austrians and the ACW figures. The others, no. It does look good though!

Eyes can be tricky. I think they are fairly good for the most part, although there are some where I smeared a bit and the French eyes are somewhat crappy:(

Figures are Sash and Saber for the Austrians and ACW.

Yeah, I see that the trousers look somewhat grey, although they are more a blue. I think the photos just aren't quite getting the colors right:( I'll see if I can do something to get them correct.

Thanks for coming by, and if you can share your opinions on the Austrian photos (check the doubles sets at the bottom) that would be hugely appreciated!

Nice job on those Austrians, Hungarians are so cool!

btw, I prefer the pictures on the left.

Ahh, from a real Austrian expert, too!

Thanks for the input on the photos; I've been a bit mixed on which I like more.
