I bought a book in the late '90s from the military book club and I'd like to get it again, but for the life of me can't remember the name or the author.

It was a country by country listing of all the nations involved in WW II. Each entry had a list of popualtion, ethnic and religous make up, type of government, etc. followed by a concise history of their participation.

I spent an hour scrolling through Amazons WW II books with no luck. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like "The World War Two Source Book", I also got it from the Military Book Club. It was set up to be a companion to Phillip Haythornthwaite's "The World War One Source Book". It also had listings of weapons, campaigns, divisions, etc. I can't find it under exactly that title, though and I'm away from my library at the moment.

Thanks I'll check Amazon to see what turns up.

Perhaps it was "World War Two Nation by Nation" by J. Lee Ready?

Thanks, Cloudy I checked Amazon and that's the one.

Cheers! Happy endings are always good – that is unless they want $199.95 USD for it now…
