My humble blog has been updated and contains more of the same, BUT it also reveals in all it's glory the world's first scratchbuilt 6mm Piano!

also includes;

*Timecast's No14 Zwarteweg painted and based.
*Timecast's Big wooden Building painted and based.
*Towed guns and Prime Movers- mainly GHQ
*How to make a simple park, plus how not to do a water effect!

I've been exploring sci-fi/near future 6mm gaming. I enjoy your website. Keep up the good work.

One of the ruined Russian buildings from Timecast has a piano in it.

Damn – Greg G1 beat me to it.

The TimeCast model 3/010D (Damaged Kharkov house) does indeed have a piano visible through the holes in the damaged upper floor….

I think we designed that model in 2004. Incidentally, my first job on leaving school was working in a piano factory (John Broadwood & Sons – honest!) and the 1:300 piano was based on the traditional Broadwood & Sons upright piano design (very popular from the 1890s up to the 1930s).

Once again TimeCast can demonstrate the depth of their research and personal knowledge of their subject!

Did you know that can from a TV advert for PG Tips called "Mr. Shifter" and it holds the world record for the advert shown most times on English TV?

Back to the subject – love the blog entries again grin

Thanks chaps.

And yes that Timecast building does have a piano, however mine is free standing, portable, and therefore lootable ;-)

Barrie hope my Timecast disclaimer on the blog was agreeable, it's just I know how fussy you guys are, even when someone mentions in passing a single bubble in a casting. :-)

More importantly for anyone who wasn't lucky enough to grow up in a land where chimps sold tea for a living here's a link to the advert. YouTube link
