what a fun game. I know absolutely nothing about Napoleonic naval stuff, so I can't comment on the accuracy of the game, but heck was it a good laugh. Although my opponent and I do have some rather lovely Langton ships they have been sat in their packets for just over a year now! (one day i'll get round to them!) So we used the ships from the Pirates of the
. game of which we have stacks. Using these models again was great fun. As for the rules, we both found them very easy to understand and we managed 2 small games this evening with a win each. |

I just played my first game this Wednesday, and I can only agree. Naval combat has never really attracted me and Napoleonics is one my least favourite historical era, but I'd be damned if it wasn't one of the most exciting game I've played in a year, and that with only 500 pts! |
