Hi Guys
Two Questions:
1. Can anyone suggest what other troops from the Peninsular War (dates 1807-1814), I could use the Perry Dutch or Belgian Carabiniers, (codes DB28 and DB37) for?
And, my second question:
2. Could the Perry Nassau figs be used for any campaigns other than the 100 days?
Thanks.

Can say for Q1 but the Nassau figs do have similar uniforms to those worn in earlier period. There are however some serious differences, in the epaluttes and trousers. If you take a look at the following link you will see the uniform plates (the one in the middle should assist you). Enjoy!

Arkoudaki, those are lovely plates.

You could possibly just get away with the Perry Nassau for earlier period, even Peninsular at one point, no?

They are such lovely figures they should really be used at every opportunity.

As to the Carabiniers – the Dutch are the ones with Bicornes, yes – you may be able to use them as Spanish Heavies, although the pink turnbacks etc would be wrong I think. But again, lovely figures, get them out more!

For the Nassau, the new 1815 uniforms (wore by the 1st Regiment) are pretty unique, with the new "wings" for the elite amongst other things. I think the 2nd regiment could be used for the 1809-1813 period, as the Perrys sculped them in the earlier uniform.

I use both for my earlier campaigns, the uniforms are close enough for me. First, nobody does the earlier uniform in 28mm, second, as pointyjavelin points out, these figs are way too nice to be used only in one campaign!
