I just recieved my Bay Area Yards USS Minnesota and CSS Florida castings. Nice stuff! Finishing up the BAY Chatahochee and USS Osippee. Next up – salvaging an old Thoroughbred Figures Sassacus class double ender that was sacrificed to the parts box many years ago. I've got the hull, the wheelhouses and the deckhouse. Everything else I'll have to improvise. What's new with you? |

Bought some 'sale' Bay Area ships that are missing all parts but the hulls (smile). Now I've got to figure out how to put masts on them, rig them, put guns on them and such. Dan |

Oooohhh. A sale! What did you get, Dan? Lots of big honking ships of the line? I can share my thoughts on what I've done for masts from styrene rod if that would help. |

Bay Area Yards now sells masts, guns, boats and ventilators. |

And fine masts they are too. I just finished USS Ossipee with the new masts. It turned out very well. |

Virtualscratchbuilder Is there review or AAR of the rules from Bay Area Yards. I am playing around with doing the period. I like the fact that it comes with ship counters that I can use to get the feel of the game system |
