Is a blog good for this or can you just post photos on facebook? (don't have one myself). ALV |

I would create a blog. One does not have to be a member to view. Facebook one has to join in order to view anything posted. I know I have follows links of Battle reports and it has taken me to Facebook. Sorry, they did not get looked at. Mike |

A blog will let you keep photo and text together so it is a good choice. Another option is to write the report on TMP and put the photos on flikr, google picasa or photobucket. I see this done here on a regular basis and I do it if I post something here that uses a reference image |

GWNN, I have both blog and a photobucket account; both serve different purposes. Photobucket "slideshow" and other options are nice to play with. Find my last TMP posting 15 mm Dervish Army if you have not done so. Located in the photobucket archive are 15mm Ancients and the rest of my SYW collection. The photos of the Prussians were later used for my video Potsdammer Wachtparade which can be seen at YouTube. Believe me, I am not an expert with camera nor with pen, but I did find inspiration enough to continue with small steps. Creating your blog, I would view some the many tutorial videos at YouTube to see what you can use now and what options you can chose for later. Keyword: blog tutorials At TMP, there is a blog discussion group, so you have plenty of support. Good luck. Cheers, Robert 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.com |
