That is the BEST looking Vietnam game I have ever seen.
Questions:
1. What figures are those you were using for VC and US forices?
2. Is everything 20MM even the copters?
3. Who makes those great huts?

Thanks.

P.S. – Excellent photography also.

Thanks for the compliment, WarWiz, but Im sure there are better Nam games out there! My inspiration comes from a mate in the UK whose Nam collection is a quality that makes ours look decidedly average in comparison! But Im my own worst critic… :-)

1 – Figures are mainly Britannia with a few Liberation, Platoon 20, RAFM and Qualiticast. All mix well together.

2 – Yup – All 20mm.

3 – Huts are from Airfix, Britannia and a few 'unknowns' picked up on Ebay.

That table board is inspiring! Well done.

What did you use for the brown water river?

Several of the 'unknown' huts are from 'The Square'…..I got some too!!
Great looking gear on the table……ex-Archer Models PACV?
I want one!!!! (probably more than one really…)

The river is thanks to my wife… Its a double bed sheet that she found the day before the event in a local shop, as as usual, she came to the rescue. This then had mats cut out from grass Mat-O-War placed on top of it with a bit of sand from Blackrock beach!

Yup… The old OOP Archer PACV… Pretty hard to get these days.

You lucky dog! Everyone wants one of them. I'd keep your home address a secret!

I didn't realise the Mat-O-War mats were so thick. That's brilliant. I've used plain bown "butchers paper" as a base for rivers, and then put cut MDF over it (having to sand and angle the river banks, pain in the butt). Your way is muuuuch easier.

Darby,

It was the easiest solution I could come up with for transporting the game.

The whole game fits into five boxes and a figure case!

I would love purpose built scenery but its just not practicable till our club has sorted its storage issues… But I think we did ok with a bed sheet and some bits of mat!
