Hi all,

at long last I have now been able to do some painting. It was months since my last brushstrokes. To get back to the swing of things, I have finished the remaining three ACW Command figures from Perry Miniatures.

I quite enjoyed them but the faces were again a particular challenge. I found the detail, especially in that area, a little bit fuzzy, imho.

Also, I actually started with the eyes for the very first time after applying the base colour. Made it bit easier for me to get the "look" right. Not quite perfect yet but getting there, I think. ;-)

I hope you like them and let me know what you think!

They look like an oil painting. Gorgeous!

As always Sascha, amazing work!!

I like the officer, the only way you can tell he is one, is the sword. Well maybe the red "Sash"! :)

A very nice job on those fellas. I am particularly impressed by the stripes on the blanket the standard bearer is wearing.

My regular reenacting field uniform is VERY similar to the one that the drummer on the left has…very nice…

I particularly like the way the colors blend and transition from light to dark with the folds of the cloth. They don't look artificial the way many other 3-tone paint jobs can look. Yours are natural looking. And yes, that light brown blanket roll with the hint of plaid is amazing.

The two drummers are especially well done.
