Finally tracked down a copy of the War of the Worlds PC game and got these pics for inspiration in scratch-building etc. All pics show the A.B and C models of the vehicles. The C models being the largest in each example Vernian submarines picture

"Finally tracked down a copy of the War of the Worlds PC game" If you'd mentioned it, I've got one on a shelf here. I can't get it to run on any of the PCs I have. Which is a shame because they're probably now powerful enough to actually play it

I love that game. The two sides have different resources they're after, the soundtrack is good, and the two sides' units aren't similar at all. |

Yeah
I lent my copy to someone and they ran off with it. Sad too, it was fantastic. The subs are cool. Don't think I bothered to develop when I played. |

It's hard to get it working on some computers but there are a few ways to work around it out there including a patch at the jeff wayne fansite. I wish someone would make mole machines like that. |

Nice artwork. I wnat to get one of Tobsen77's new screw-propelled vehicles and mount a whopping big gun on the back for a self-propelled gun. |
