A while back I asked about using Pollyscale British PRU Blue for Union trousers. I bought a bottle and tried it on a dozen 15mm figures, painting over the Vallejo Sky Blue as well as over unpainted black primer. I posted the result on my blog. I think I have found a trouser color I like!

Looks like a great choice. Well done and thanks for posting.

Looks good. As a former reenactor I can tell you there is a definite green twinge in Kersey blue cloth trousers. If they last long enough to fade they can become quite green.

Nice – thanks for the post – the right colour (color) for Union trousers seems to be one of those threads that never end

Looks nice.

ANd yes it is an aircraft colour, British PRU, being British Photo Reconaissance Unit Blue.

Thanks Fred. I always wondered what the PRU represented.

Try to vary the color from a lite blue to different shades so the unit will not look all the same
