I love cork as a medium to make buildings. Nice job on your ruins.

Thanks,

John

Where do you get your cork tiles from? All I can find locally are the "bulletin board" tiles or buy the $$!! case.

The bulletin board tiles were what I used. I got 4 for $7.69 USD at my CVS, figure I can get 8 buildings and 4 piles of rubble at that rate from one pack of 4 tiles.

BTW, I have to go to NJ this weekend (I forgot about NJCON)so we'll set up a game after that.

Not a problem..the wife wants to go see Up this weekend anyhow…

Nice ruins. I scrolled down to your LAV-25 and, as a former LAV scout, it gives me the creeps. You put the tarp over the scout hatches man! If that thing hits a mine the scouts will be blown all over the overhead instead of shot free through the hatches…thats how I always planned on surviving anyway…

Whoops, sorry Red3…then again, in T2K, I am assuming that these vehicles don't have their full complement of scouts anyhow….

Red3actual10 Jun 2009 2:17 p.m. PST

Very true. The only time we ever depolyed with full scouts was in Mogadishu early 94: 4 scouts and an attached sniper or engineeer depending on the vehicle. Besides, you can rig a neat little hammock in the troop compartment with less scouts…

Anyway, it brought back memories of all our bitching when we had to button up. Again, great stuff…
