Let's build a thread here were people who have purchased 1/144th scale ww2/modern aircraft can let us all know where they got them from.

I'm going to get into this scale over 1/300 for the visual reason and the fact I DO NOT want large scale battles.

I'll start first!!

Ebay
Hobbylinc

Was that Hobbylink Japan?

I mainly game 10/12mm ground stuff, but have various planes for support.

I have a Sweet Hurricane kit from HLJ.
A couple of pre-built and painted Stukas from ebay
A metal Typhoon from Minifigs
A plastic Revell Typhoon (not a nice kit)
A metal Horsa Glider from Pendraken

so a nice variety of manufacturers and formats.

Oopps….yea, Hobbylink

You might try here, but I am biased, since I sell them:

topgunmarketing.org

The 21st Century planes inventory is dwindling, now that they are out of business/going out of business.

HLJ is a good source, but prices have skyrocketed, with the falling value of the dollar vs. the yen.

Best regards,

Rob

Most recently I've ordered Sweet kits and some pre-paints from Rob at Top Gun Marketing. I've also ordered Sweet kits from their US distributor. I bought some Flames of War P-40s from my local shop.

I used to buy Minicraft kits at the US Air Force Museum's gift shop, but they no longer stock them, unfortunately.

eBay. There are some good vendors based out of Hong Kong and Korea selling "Buy Now" items at very good prices.
