Not to sneeze into the container. Excuse me, I have to clean up my nasal passages, my sweatshirt, the table, the minis, the floor, etc. Woodland Scenics "Burnt grass" bits everywhere.

I hate spring sometimes!

Maybe you should buy a package of those cotton surgical masks to wear before you start flocking your bases.

Or open the top of the container next to a fan which is on

Or prior to shaking it up to mix the just perfect combination of grass, rocks, wood shavings, lichen to seal the top of your Tupperware container.

Reminds of the time I dropped a container of GW coloured sand onto my hobby room carpeted floor. Sand on a Carpet. Most of it went into the vaccum.

If you shake a tin of Quickshade, it's a good idea to: a) Make sure the lid is on tight. b) Put your hand over the lid anyway.

Quickshade can be removed from a carpet. You need to scoop up the excess with a spoon or similar, then wash several times with turps or similar. Please check that the carpet is colourfast by checking a small area first.

I definitely have a mental block when it comes to flock. After tapping gently the base of a particularly overloaded figure and finding still too much flock, I frustratedly blow (as a reflex action) the flock away, simultaneously creating a flock storm of epic proportions over the painting table. I do this at least once every couple of painting sessions!

Clean up your flockin' mess!

I spilled a tin of basing material on the floor & scooped most of it back into the tin. Now I have to pick out the dog hairs every time I use it.

The Gods of Flockin are with me.Just finished 4508 figs and not a bump in the road. About 2000 to go.
