Steve Dake put paint to plastic to show off our new Numidians. Photography by the equally talented Don Nelson.

Wow, those guys are cool.

I like the two archers who appear to be auditioning for the post of standing on top of the fountain in Piccadilly Circus. They do look a little, er… fruity, don't they?

I admit, I'm one of the skeptical ones (though not one of the rabid haters), but things seem to be progressing nicely as far as sculpting quality goes with the old WF mob.

Looking good!

Thank you, Plynkes. I was already wary of the pose, but now Eros will be etched on my brain.

I have assembled some of these and cunningly observed that, while it is possible to have a curly headed lad firing an arrow while standing on one foot ---- it's not necessary.

My running figures are throwing javelins, in an honest, manly way.

Nice. My only quibble is they look like they spent too much time in the gym, ancient warriors in the Steve Reeves mold. You can't beat them for utility though.

Good looking figures – will look out for the sprues here downunder.

Now what about other 'generic' figures……………..

Look ok, but not a fan of the heavy black lines to denote muscles etc effect.

I think they look fantastic.
