I am trying to com up with some ideas for an automaton armed with a Gatling Gun for a Deadlands game that a friend of mine is running. The Automaton has to be larger than a man and I am going to arm it with a Gatling (although I am open to how I mount it). So far the ideas that I have had are the AEWW2 robot trooper and one of the Armourcast Steam minis picture Anybody have any other ideas? |

The Great Rail Wars miniatures had a set of automatons armed with gatling guns. The robots were definately bigger than a man too. I think Jeff Valent still sells them. |

There's a mechwarrior mech with a gatling gun that converts to VSF pretty easily (frankly, many of them do). |

How about a giant mechanical horse with the gun mounted on its underbelly. |

I took a Reaper Iron Golem, added a steam engine to the back and an extra weapon from a Deadlands steamcycle and got this: picture Regards, the Gorb |

There is a Warmachine warjack from the cygnar faction that would be perfect. It already comes with a gatling gun and is larger than a man but not too large. I cant remember the name but you hould be able to find it on their site pretty easily. |

Try the clockwork soldier done up by Parroom Station. I think you can get them through Brigade Games now. Swap the gun barrel for a gatling barrel (homemade wouldn't be that hard, just a bundle of plastic rods). |

I converted two Silver Age Sentinels "Iron Duke" minis to Deadlands automatons. link I just added guns to their upraised arms. They've got cow-catchers for mouthes! I've also got the regular Great Rail Wars Automatons, but the Iron Duke minis are my "advanced" automatons. Unfortunately, these guys are oop. I looked on Noble Knight, no luck. |
