Looks marvelous. John McEwan is really a master when it comes to modeling mechanical devices. |

Actually, I did the master. I have made several for him. That's why I get them pre-release. :) More in the pipes too! But yes, he is a master!

Are those numbers decals or hand-lettered? Either way, look great. |

And yet another question: does (will) the disk come with the kit? If not, how do you make them (or that one in particular; I can make disks with a blister pack and a paper punch but they don't look as good). |

And yet another question: does (will) the disk come with the kit? If not, how do you make them (or that one in particular; I can make disks with a blister pack and a paper punch but they don't look as good). Propeller disks are easy to make. I use scrap plastic salvaged from packages. Take a draftman's compass and replace the lead with a second point. Use the second point to scratch the surface of the plastic in concentric circles. Keep scratching the outer circle until you cut though the plastic. If the prop had colored tips rub a little paint into the scratches and wipe it with a tissue to take off most of the paint. Practice until you get the effect you want. John McEwan REVIRESCO tin-soldier.com |
