Who makes RCW in this scale? I know about: Copplestone Brigade Games Musketeer Minis (actually WW1 Russians, but still suitable) Have I missed anyone? More importantly, does anyone make a Tschanka in this scale? Thanks for any help! |

Old Glory have some nice WW1 Russians. Check also Old Glory and Redoubt´s ranges for the Boxer Rebellion. They have some useful Russian sailors and cavalry. |

I think the Eureka Tchanka is more 25mm than 28mm? I have the Eureka maxim gun team and officer and they fit with brigade, musketeer and copplestone stuff I have. HLBS had a range in 25mm but I thinks its OOP now. Some of the Old glory WW1 russia might work check out the british armoured cars. Amazon miniatures have a (very) small range. link |

Battle Honours has/had a 25/28mm range for WWI – mostly early war stuff, but quite nice and inexpensive The others are all very good too. |

Old Glory do
.. well they do Old Glory Style Great War Russians suitable for the RCW. Additional Naval Inf can be garnered from Westwind(in great coats)Black Tree Design and from Bolt action, wjo make the nicest ones IMO, bedecked with Maxim Belts. BTD also do some NKVD figures that are worthwhile for variety, most will require some conversion but the Maxim crews are very nice. HLBSC's RCW range is now defunct but maybe someone has stock. They were the only people to do properly kitted out winter figures for the Northern Intervention. If you fancy Poles then Bolt action have some useable cavalry and BTD make some trrops suitable for Haller's Blue Division along with a superb French 75mm gun. To give your armies a suitably mixed look or to do 'Red Guards', partisans, Mahknovites etc try looking at partisans from BTD, Boltaction and even Foundry. If you want some gun variety RLPBS (sic) do a 4.5" howitzer in 1/64, a lot went to Russia and ended up being used in the RCW. Battle Honours also do a rnge of Russians for the IRA but they tend to be on the small side I believe. |

Example of painted Old Glory WW1 Russians: igwargminis.com/photo2_1.html I am very happy with Old Glory figures, including Cossack cavalry. By filing off shoulder boards you can make them Reds. Coppelstone figures are larger, but I think that they will fit together when painted. I bought light machine gunners as Old Glory don't have them. Brigade Games would fit also. Eureka tachanka human figures are smaller that Coppelstone, but will fit with Old Glory for sure. Coppelstone horses are giants compared to Old Glory and especially Eureka. |

Mark, I believe Scarab Miniatures will be releasing WWI Russians which of course can be use as Whites and by removing shoulder boards and roundels can be used as Reds as well. |
