Here is my first post to the Johnny Reb Gaming Society's CHARGE! blog, which I maintain. link I will be heavily retouching the ships in the months to come and hope to run a game at Fall-In. |

Think eliminating the basing would look very good on the blue/darker blue fabric! |

Scott, I agree with docdennis1968. I would eliminate the basing and besides retouching the ships, I think a wash would really bring out the details of Toby's beautiful detail of his models. |

Rather that black for the Mississippi, I would suggest a yellowish-brown. That would be appropriate for anything south of the mouth of the Missouri. |

I agree about ditching the bases and also about the color of the Mississippi. BTW, those are not "ships," they're "boats." |

A nice collection of war boats. I also look forward to some JR @ Historicon photos on the new JRGS/Charge! blog. The higher the res, the better ! |

LOL! You can tell I am a Gettysburg author and expert and definitely not a sailor. I had no clue there is a difference between a ship and a boat! At long as it floats and gets me where I need to go. And now off to PA Dutch / Amish country all day with my in-laws who are visiting from my native Ohio
