link TMP link It would be great to get that Theta Drone in 15mm. Anyone know if more are in the works??? I'd love to know, before I decide if I'm going to dive in and buy their 15mm Spugs. Thanks. CC |
Hexxenhammer | 28 Apr 2009 11:10 a.m. PST |
And jump spugs. And armored spugs. |
Cacique Caribe | 28 Apr 2009 11:19 a.m. PST |
For me, the unarmored look works great, provided there are sufficient variants: TMP link CC |
infojunky | 28 Apr 2009 11:35 a.m. PST |
Heck some more poses and light weapons would be great from my point of view. |
Spacelord | 28 Apr 2009 12:52 p.m. PST |
Please rest assured that there are plans for more 15mm spugs. I'm afraid we had another baby which has cramped my sculpting time somewhat. (plus I suffered an unfortunate bout of lazygititis). I loved doing the 15mm guys because it was just so fast to get results after slugging away at the 28s. I want to do versions of the heavy and jump spugs in 15mm, plus I'd like to do some crew for the heavy weapon and hover bikes- general purpose carrying equipment types. I'm not promising that the 15mm versions will be exact duplicates of their larger cousins, probably more a slight variant on the same theme. Also- I'm open to requests :) |

Looking forward to more 15mm Spug Options!!! Jeff |
javelin98 | 28 Apr 2009 1:30 p.m. PST |
Oh, so that's the miniature you were working on
understandable, I suppose
Could we have Spugnaughts? And maybe some mantis-riding Spug cavalry? 15mm has so many possibilities! |
wminsing | 28 Apr 2009 1:38 p.m. PST |
The mantis mounted cavalry sounds like a fantastic idea. I'll also do some brainstorming on some requests of my own
. I'd also like to see the Theta drone in 15mm, along with the other infantry options. -Will |

By the way, who sells 15mm Spugs in the US? Thanks. CC |

I got mine from Rattlehead Games |

Redroom Thanks! I just placed an order. CC |

More 28mm Spugs too! The jetbike and gun, some form of mounted spugs etc. 28mm is the true scale after all! |
Cacique Caribe | 28 Apr 2009 3:38 p.m. PST |
Alien: "28mm is the true scale after all!" LOL. I guess I'm "Bi". I like both 28mm and 15mm, each for different reasons. CC |
Spacelord | 28 Apr 2009 3:38 p.m. PST |
yes, but 15mm is the fast scale :) But yes, more 28mm, noted. |
JRacel | 28 Apr 2009 3:48 p.m. PST |
yes, but 15mm is the fast scale :) – Spacelord Very much agree on all levels. Ignor those 28mm folks, they have enough toys available , please keep feeding the growing demand for 15mm SciFi! Ambush Alley Games is working on a SciFi suppliment for their new Force on Force rules and that should really help push 15mm SciFi. Please, more spugs, especially flyers and heavy armor!!! Jeff |
Cacique Caribe | 28 Apr 2009 3:54 p.m. PST |
Agreed. The 15mm crowd needs more! Though I would rather have a few more poses of the unarmored ones. QUESTION: I forgot to ask this before placing my order earlier today but, are the 15mm Spugs one piece casts, or do they require any sort of assembly? CC |
JRacel | 28 Apr 2009 5:31 p.m. PST |
QUESTION: I forgot to ask this before placing my order earlier today but, are the 15mm Spugs one piece casts, or do they require any sort of assembly? – CC The Support gun and the bikes need a little assembly. The gun to its base and the bike to a small flight stand. Pretty easy. Jeff |
John Leahy | 28 Apr 2009 7:50 p.m. PST |
Would love to see more 15mm Spugs to add to my Army! The Spug infantry need no assembly. Jeff nailed the rest. Thanks, John |
Cacique Caribe | 28 Apr 2009 7:51 p.m. PST |
Excellent. I got 3 packs/squads of the infantry and a couple of the support guns. Thanks guys. CC |
John Leahy | 29 Apr 2009 5:48 a.m. PST |
I'm using Kravak vehicles (skimmer and heavy tank) for my Spug ones. That rounds out the force pretty well. Thanks, John |
javelin98 | 30 Apr 2009 1:25 p.m. PST |
The 28mm Spugnaught would make a good heavy walker for 15mm, too. |
JRacel | 30 Apr 2009 1:49 p.m. PST |
"The 28mm Spugnaught would make a good heavy walker for 15mm, too." I have one for just this purpose! Jeff |
camelspider | 30 Apr 2009 2:32 p.m. PST |
28mm is the true scale after all! Yep, the true scale of GI Joes all right. |
alien BLOODY HELL surfer | 30 Apr 2009 4:33 p.m. PST |
No, please make some more 28mm first! I've just got into 6mm (hint hint) and am trying to resist getting into 15mm too!! |
Cacique Caribe | 07 May 2009 3:43 p.m. PST |
These would make a fantastic "caste" for Spugs: link CC |

Forgot to mention the first time around, we need Comm Spugs in 15mm! |
wminsing | 01 Jun 2009 9:55 a.m. PST |
Just got my first order of Spugs in- they are absolutely fantastic looking little guys! I have enough for a platoon (or the Spug equivalent) but I'm already considering a 2nd platoon. My most 'urgent' requests are comm spugs and Theta drones, along with crew for the heavy weapon. After that I'd love to see the heavy and jump spugs, plus whatever else you're cooking up. ;) -Will |
Brutorz Bill | 07 Jun 2009 8:19 a.m. PST |
Sign me up for some more 15mm unarmored Spugs as well!!! I've got a ton of 28mm, but I'm getting more and more into 15mm these days. |

Spacelord: "Also- I'm open to requests :)" Any plans for additional light unarmored 15mm Spugs? Thanks. CC link |
Stoss55 | 15 Aug 2009 1:43 p.m. PST |
i have to echo the few people in here requesting more 28mm stuff. not too much more, because it is a pretty complete range as is, but just a few more support weapons for the PA spugs and jump spugs and such. those heavy weapons and jetbikes from the 15mm range would be cool in 28mm too, but i can live without em. just the support weapons, please, and i'll be a happy camper :D |

QUESTIONS: I don't know how big these are but, do you think they could work as a fighter craft for 15mm Spugs? link And, could these play the part of Spug "pets" that, somehow, get loose? link CC |
Cacique Caribe | 23 Aug 2009 7:55 p.m. PST |
Is it just me, or do the guns in these look rather a lot like the "rifles" the Spugs have? link picture It would be interesting to see if they could be used as cannon for Spug infantry. CC |
