I am planning on starting the Italian Wars in 15mm and have been quite taken with the Venexia range. In reviewing the board's archives, I noticed that there was a problem, about a year ago, that the figures were rather brittle (the description reminded me of the old Freikorps figures of 30 or so years ago). It also seemed that the problem was intermittent appearing in one order but not so much in another.

Does anyone know if they still suffer from this problem?

Thanks for the help!

I have all the codes (and several packs of each). I have not come across a brittleness issue.

I had some of their first 28 mm gendarmes. All the horses broke within a few days.

I provided replacements to customers who had brittle 28 mm horses nearly two years ago. The cause was a poor batch of metal and there hasn't been any problems since then. I've had no returns of the 15 mm ranges.

Thanks, gentlemen, for the advice. I was very impressed with the photos I have seen of the Venexia figures on the various websites, so am pleased to hear that the issue was a transitory one.

I'll be looking at army list and placing an order soon!

Thanks again,

Mike

yes the issue was a transitory one (bad metal) that has been solved soon. Also if you have broken figs you can ship directly to Venexia and they will ship you back new figures.

I sold many 15mm packs at conventions a few years ago. I never had clients complain to me about that issue.

losart and Rudy,

Thanks for the letting me know -- it is great to learn that good customer service is not a thing of the past!
