Anybody make these hairy hominids in 15mm?

Use a nice 25/28mm one. Make it "memorable"

Black Autumn Productions23 Apr 2009 12:35 p.m. PST

I am sculpting them right now in fact as a part of my new ranges.

Keep an eye on Mark's Dropship Horizon for preview images coming soon.

Michael,
That is cool! I'll get some of those. Any other cryptids on the horizon?

Hrothgar Returns23 Apr 2009 4:42 p.m. PST

I'm sure M.Y. has a yeti or sasquatch, and my Evil Gong?

@ SloppyP

Hey bro, have you seen some of these videos?
YouTube link

If you keep clicking these links in the related video side bar at the right, all kinds of cool full lenght shows come up.
I have been watching them all. There are like 6 good BF & Yeti shows at this link.

You are bound to like them.
…and yes, I think there are some sort of man-things living in the remote parts of the world.

@ Hrothgar Returns

I am doing an entire race called The Qwa, for my White Star War (NOT Star Wars) Sci-Fi Range. That race will have large and small Fuzzies including large riding and war beast. All of these guys are very Sci-Fi/Sci-Fantasy.

I am also doing a complete Horror Range which will have "Modern" BF's & Y's.

A lot of Fuzzy-Goodness is coming bro.
…and as a huge fan of H.P. Lovecraft…you can bet that there will be a race of Lizard-Fish Fellows…from the great black depths.

Thanks for the posts guys, it makes me work harder.
Back to scupting…

Michael

P.S. I will have some pictures up in the next week or so, if I have to run out of a Wal-Mart with a damn camera under my arm…lol!

Sloppypainter23 Apr 2009 8:50 p.m. PST

The Wal-Mart police will get ya and we'll never hear from you again…it'll be the Wal-mart gulag for you! I'll be patient…sorta…just whistling the theme from Jeopardy!

Yeah, my guy at NeoTek had an issue with his funds come up, so getting me the new camera is taking a little longer. But he is a long time friend and he will get it for me soon.

He knows what I can do with putty, and he is 100% behind helping me to get BAP up and running.

Hold on a bit longer.

The horror range sounds great. A 15mm Shadows Over Innsmouth would make a fun scenario. Trick the players into thinking they're gaming something else.

Black Autumn Productions24 Apr 2009 8:32 a.m. PST

Yup.
Again, in 15mm you can do an extremly expansive (full of places to adventure) village so much nicer IMO, and still have a living room left after it is all set up.

Black Autumn,
Please post some pictures of something soon!!!!

Sloppypainter24 Apr 2009 5:39 p.m. PST

Thanks for input, gents. The Magister Militum fig looks pretty tempting.

Black Autumn Productions24 Apr 2009 7:18 p.m. PST

Don't even SloppyP…trust me on this one bro.
Mine look just like The Classic Beings…they are based on what the folk lore depicts.

Hey RighteousRude
I plan on it by the end of the month bro.

These images are not mine, but they show you what you can sort of expect the miniatures to be like.

I've got the Yetis from Green Eyed Minis and like them, like CC said they are on sale, so now is a good time to get them. Shipping took about a week to get across the "big Pond", so pretty fast.

Cacique Caribe14 Oct 2009 9:36 p.m. PST

Ok . . .

Here are a couple of picture of the WSD Chumbondas:

However, how do the GEM Yetis and the WSD Chumbonda compare to each other?

Are these "Twanax" passable as Sasquatch for 15mm gaming?

Thanks,

Dan
PS. And does anyone know if the height is right?
