All,

I heard ppl use the 3/8" fender washers to put individual troopers on, what do you do to make the stick? I think the hole in the middle of the washer could cause problems.

Thanks in advance.

I use 1/2" and 5/8" washers for mine. Most of the bases on 15mm guys will cover the opening.

Pennies are the right price, but way to large and non-magnetic. So they don't keep my figures from rolling around in the storage/ travel boxes.

12mm steel fender washers.

Use an epoxy glue, like Liquid Nails.

I use Zap-A-Gap glue. Never had a problem yet.

I use Super Glue too, but only apply two small drops on each 1/4" washer, where it will make contact with the figure base.
I make sure that I move the figure once or twice during the glues short drying time, to make sure it doesn't stick to my paint table.
Good Gaming;

I use the fenders you mention. Regardless of size, I apply a small piece of scotch tape across the hole. I put superglue on the fig and stick it on, to the tape and fender. Never a problem from 15mm to 25mm. I also texture the stand with wood putty then Woodland Scenics fine and course brown ballast. Works like a charm. You can see my WWII 15mm individually base here link .

BTW a trick I use to mark figs by squad: I turn the fig over and color the bottom of the tape inside the hole using different color Sharpie markers. Blue squad, Red squad, ect. Really speeds set up and tear down, keeping everything organized. Helps during play as well.

Thanks for the advice CP, I have my spugs and special forces mounted on tape&washers now, will need to pick up some wood putty later this week.

Redroom you might want to try my 1/2 inch rounds gamecraftersltd.com better than washers!
